Gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free; there are litterally three components to this recipe: seeds, salt and water. Deadly easy to make, a healthy alternative to chips for your dips and WAY more delicious than those dry and crumbly ready-made gluten-free biscuit crackers. Make a big batch and keep them in an airtight container for a nutritious snack – it’s only got the good stuff in it!
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup linseeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds and/or sunflower seeds and/or pine nuts
1/2 tsp fine salt
1 cup water
Preheat the oven to 150°C
Mix all the ingredients together and let sit for at least 5 minutes, mixing occasionally. The chia seeds will absorb all the water, leaving you with a gooey mix.
Spread to desired thickness on a lined tray, I like these very thin (about 1-2mm). You can also at this stage sprinkle the mix with Maldon sea salt, dried herb powders or spices. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes. Flip and bake another 35′ more or until crispy throughout.
Break up and enjoy.
